Introduction

I would like to welcome everyone who visits here. This is something I decided to do to keep people "in the know" when it comes to trance in Austin. I am going to keep the introduction short and sweet, but I think I will at least tell you guys where I come from.

I grew up in Phoenix Arizona enjoying the sounds of hip hop and weird electronic bass type music for my insanely loud sound system I had in all my vehicles. I left home when I was 19 to join the armed forces and found myself living in San Diego, California. It didnt take but a couple months for my circle of friends to corrupt me into the real electronic scene. I listened to trance music from the get go for probably a year before I ever went to my first rave or club that played it. Once my cherry was popped, I was hooked. About 2 or so years of partying, I decided I loved the music so much that I would take it up as a hobby. I had a wonderful friend lend his equipment by letting me come over and making his ears bleed with train wreck after train wreck. I knew then that this was something I was going to do for some time, and went out and bought myself all top of the line equipment. Quite a bit for someone just learning, but I didn't care.

The end of 2006, I finally decided I needed to vacate Southern California and find refuge in a more realistic town in respect to cost of living. My transition had me back in Phoenix for about 8 months. During that 8 months, I became the fastest upcoming trance DJ's in town. Unfortunately, trance isn't as popular in Phx as it was in Southern California. Now, my home is Austin and I plan to hopefully get together with other trance DJ's in town and see what we can revive.
